Come celebrate the Kalachakra New Year with us. This is the anniversary of the day the Budha turned the wheel of Dharma and taught the Kalachakra Tantra for the first time to the Bodhisattva kings of Shambhala. On this most auspicious day, when all merit is multiplied a million times over, Khentrul Rinpoché and HE Rigzin Chenpo will consecrate the Rimé Institute’s glorious new retreat property the Land of Shambhala.
This free overnight camping retreat will begin on Thursday to correspond with the potent full moon of Ngapa Dawa. During this day and night, we will be doing extensive prayers and rituals for Kalachakra New Year and to consecrate the grounds. This will seed the Land of Shambhala connecting it strongly to the Kalachakra tantra.
